Counselling Courses

The Institute of Counselling recognises that our students may have different needs to be met when making a course choice. Some of you may wish to use your studies with us to build towards a higher educational qualification and may do so by selecting one of our courses with modules accredited by either Glasgow Caledonian University or the University of the West of Scotland. If you do not have any formal qualifications this is also a good place to start.

Some of you already will be well qualified with perhaps a first degree or even a Masters, with your first priority to gain additional knowledge and skills in your chosen area of counselling. Accreditation may be less important to you and you feel no need to go through the academic rigour necessary within our accredited modules. 

All of our courses will contribute to your Continuing Professional Development (CPD) and a CPD certificate will be issued by the Institute in addition to your Certificate or Diploma.
