The Diploma in Crisis Counselling course has been designed for students wanting to study crisis counselling from a clinical and pastoral perspective. The course is appropriate not only for students who are counselling within communities of faith, but also for those seeking to incorporate a person-centred style within general counselling situations.The course uses the Clinical and Pastoral model, and it identifies practical skills and responses for many crisis counselling situations.

On completion of this course students may re-enrol and complete two further modules to gain the Diploma in Counselling.

      Materials 

      Each Module is supplied with a course manual and text-book. CD-ROM is supplied in module 1 to supplement the manual. 

      Linkages to other Courses

      Module 121 is looked at as a foundation counselling module which supports other Diploma Courses

      Accredited or CPD

      In addition to the course certificate successful candidates will be awarded a certificate of CPD. Those who require academic accreditation may wish to consider module GCU2 from the Institutes Course 5000N which can be studied separately.
