Counselling Courses,Training and CBT

The Institute of Counselling has delivered Counselling Courses and Training and CBT (Cognitive Behavioural Therapy courses) along with Coaching and Mentoring for over 35 years. We have trained over 30,000 students and understand that our students may have different needs to be met when making a course choice.

Some of you may wish to use your studies and training with us to build towards a higher educational qualification and may do so by selecting one of our courses with modules credit rated by Glasgow Caledonian University. If you do not have any formal qualifications then our Certificate in Counselling, Diploma in Counselling courses or our CBT courses are also a good place to start.

I found the course easy to navigate with lots of practice questions and examples. The materials provided were sufficient and relevant to the topics. I really enjoyed the course and want to carry on with course 2400 to level 4. I expected to get a bit more support from my tutor tbh, like a quick call or messaging back and forth a bit more, but her feedback was valuable and to the point. I think the assignment 5 wording can be improved. It was not very clear and I got marked as C which was upsetting. I’d have done a much better job, had the instructions been clearer. Happy to be corrected. Thanks.
