The course really helped me get myself together. I registered for a course soon after losing my brother and I was going through a hard time.

Good insight full course .
course material layout could of been clearer and easier to understand .
Would of been nice if course books were provided and included in the price of course and not having to be purchased separately.

Certificate in Counselling
I found the course really easy to follow and have really enjoyed completing it. My tutor has been very helpful, I have enjoyed communicating with Marie all through the course, and my assignments have been returned to me in a timely manner.
The only point I would make (which is not a complaint), is that I really enjoyed watching the videos of counselling taking place, and I would have enjoyed watching more of these.

Diploma in Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (Credit rated at SCQF level 8)
Overall the course was very informative and what is a big plus for me is using the materials as regular form CPD in keeping the most important aspects of CBT at the forefront of my support of patients.

Certificate in Counselling
The course, if taken seriously as a basis for one's own study, was much better than I thought it would be. The saving grace of the entire course was the quality of the tutor! Dr Murphy was incredibly generous with her time and her academic advice. She turned this course into an extremely rigorous, interesting and enjoyable course. I am not sure that true empathy can be taught or explained and from what I have seen of the physical courses on offer at universities, this course offers a serious alternative for anyone who is self motivated and possess the ability to read people. By way of constructive criticism, the materials need to be reviewed and brought back into synergy and some explanations updated and expanded. I am incredibly grateful to Dr Murphy, Alan and Urska and wish them all the best for the future.
