The Certificate in Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT) 1 course provides an understanding of theoretical models, processes and skills practice - within the context of providing a helping and supportive relationship to clients. This cognitive behavioural therapy course (CBT) has an emphasis on self-awareness, personal and professional development, critical reflection and supervision.
Students will be introduced to CBT, at the heart of which is the ABC model. They will also study:
