Students on this counselling certificate study and apply the following counselling models:

psychodynamic
behavioural
person-centred
cognitive and pastoral approaches

They will also receive training in the

counselling process
develop the core counselling qualities and skills

and apply the key skills of the Problem Management and Opportunity Development Model – Egan. Developing a professional and ethical practice is at the heart of this counselling course.
