Course 152 - Addiction Counselling will cover the following topics:

Using CBT to treat addictions.

Addiction counselling.

A manual for the module: including 10 lessons and 5 tutor marked assignments. Information given includes current research, a note of recommended textbooks and websites.

Linkages to other courses
Students without prior experience in CBT may wish to consider our Diploma in Addiction Counselling Course 3500.

Credit Rated or CPD
In addition to the course certificate awarded by the Institute successful candidates are also awarded a "Certificate of CPD" for their portfolio. Although this is a non-credit rated course it has proved popular with those who wish to study this specialism.
